The North Dakota EMS Association's Awards Program continues to grow each year. Every year NDEMSA sees an increase in the number of nominees and in recent years new award ceremonies have been added.
Our Awards Program was developed and is continuously evolving for two reasons. First, and most importantly, NDEMSA feels it is essential to take the time to recognize outstanding and meritorious service. There are numerous providers and services that go above and beyond the call of duty daily and it is our privilege to honor them.
Secondly, the Awards Program is vital to educating our communities and creating public awareness. It is important to showcase the heroes of our industry and make known the dedication and sacrifices made to ensure that emergency medical services are provided.
NDEMSA's Awards Program has three facets:
