The Alerus Center in Grand Forks will be hosting the 2012 Annual Northeast Region EMS Conference.  A variety of topics have been selected for this year's conference, covering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Children with Autism, Trauma Assessment and much more.

Special Features

The 2012 Northeast Conference has a few special features in the agenda.  Altru Health Systems and Tim Shea, from the University of North Dakota's School of Medicine, will be providing four hours of excellent hands on education and skills practice on Sunday afternoon. 

The skills practice will include simulation labs on emergency childbirth, neonate infant assessment and basic airway management.

The North Dakota EMS Association will host its Fourth Regional Leadership Training and Networking Session.  This session will provide tools and training to help EMS leaders become more successful and effective in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with local communities.  The participants will also discuss how we can all work together to build an EMS system for the future.  Additionally, the Leadership Training and Networking will cover topics that interest those present.

There are two easy ways to register for this conference.

    -Return the brochure, along with your payment, to NDEMSA, 1622 East Interstate Ave., Bismarck, ND 58503.

  2. Register online by clicking here.
    -If you are registering online please note that the membership fees are not for current members, due to the new membership terms.  You should only select membership dues if you are NOT a current member of NDEMSA.  If you are a current member and would like to extend your membership please contact our office.

Need a Place to Stay?
NDEMSA has made lodging arrangements at the Hilton Garden Inn, Clarion Inn and the AmericInn.  When calling any of the above hotels please indicate that you are with the EMS Group.  There are also a number of other hotels around the Alerus Center.  Room space is limited so you may have to call around.
