Dickinson seeking Full Time Paramedic

Dickinson Area Ambulance Service is seeking a full time paramedic. Qualifications for this position include: NRP, PALS, PHTLS, PEPP, or a willingness to obtain the qualifications within a year of hire. The position requires 48 hours/week (8 hours will be paid at time and a half, with the opportunity to obtain more overtime). The applicant must be willing to live in Dickinson and Dickinson Area Ambulance will assist with moving expenses. They will also provide uniforms, pagers, radios and continuing education. The position offers dental, vision, and healthcare insurance through BCBS, with an option of adding family at the employee's expense.

Full time EMT-B position with Pembina Ambulance

Pembina Ambulance Service has a full-time position available for an EMT-B. Provides care for all age populations along the health continuum. Responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma, environmental emergencies, extrication of trapped individuals and transporting of injured or sick persons to a medical facility, under the supervision of on or off-line medical control. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the supervision of the EMS Chief.

Regulatory Requirements:

Part-to-Fulltime Paramedic 

Mercer County Ambulance is seeking a part-to-fulltime paramedic to work in Hazen, ND.  Qualified individual must hold National Registry EMT-P certification and ND EMT-P license, along with ACLS certification.  Valid ND driver’s license is required.  Additional certifications are preferred, but not required: NRP, PALS, PHTLS, and Instructor/Coordinator.  Position requires paramedic to reside in Mercer County.  The Paramedic will provide emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings and perform additional office, supply, and maintenance duties related to EMS.  Flexible schedule includes days, nights, and weekends.  Competitive wage depending on experience.  Medical, PTO, retirement, education, and uniform benefits included.  Applications will be accepted until position is filled.  Contact Marianne Schmitt at Mercer County Ambulance for application.

West River Health Services has the following openings:

Paramedic: The Paramedic will work full time in the Emergency Medical Services Department.  This position will also oversee the daily operations of the EMS department. The qualified individual must have an ACLS certification. Additional preferred certifications are NRP, PALS, PHTLS, and Instructor/Coordinator certification. This position will require call and call back hours and necessitates residing in the Hettinger Community.  The qualified candidate must be a licensed Paramedic in the State of North Dakota.

EMT: This is a full time opportunity in the Emergency Medical Services Department and will report directly to the EMS Coordinator. This position will require call and call back hours and necessitates residing the Hettinger Community. The qualified individual must have a current EMT Certification for the State of North Dakota.

Part-Time and Full Time EMT

Full-Time and Part-time Paramedic Openings

Improving health, enriching life ... Altru Health System, Grand Forks, ND, is currently accepting applications for fulltime and part-time paramedics.  Our hospital-based ambulance, covering 5,300 calls yearly, provides service to 250,000 people in our region.  Altru is designated as a Level II Trauma Center.  Our ambulances are staffed with full paramedic crew, working 12-hour shifts.  We provide state-of-the-art care both pre-hospital and on campus.  Our staff see results and outcomes, through continuity of care, working alongside RN’s and physicians in the Emergency Outpatient Department.

Altru offers critical care paramedic certification, through a two-week course taught on-site by ER and critical care physicians, trauma surgeons and CRNAs.  The course also includes 24-32 hours of clinicals in Altru’s Critical Care Units and the UND Medical School cadaver lab.

We provide tactical medics to the Grand Forks Regional SWAT team, to support the work of the Grand Forks Police Department.
