F-M Ambulance, Fargo, North Dakota

F-M Ambulance is now accepting applications for the Director of Education position.  This full-time position is responsible for managing the Emergency Medical Education Center (EMEC) and a full-time staff of seven educators and support staff.  EMEC is a licensed Emergency Medical Service (EMS) training center in both North Dakota and Minnesota, training more than 10,000 students annually in various classes ranging from paramedic school to CPR.

The minimum qualifications include: National Registry Certification as a paramedic, three years' experience as an EMS educator, a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) or a combination of education and experience may be considered.

Rugby EMS, Rugby, North Dakota

Rugby EMS is operated by the Heart of America Medical Center performing 911, interfacility transports and ALS intercept services.  We are accepting applications for the following positions:

Ambulance Billing Office Manager: Full time position.  Ideal candidate would have experience with medical billing and coding and good computer skills.  EMT certification is a plus.  Starting salary in the range of $32K-42K DOE and level of EMS certification.  We currently serve as billing agent for over 60 North Dakota licensed ambulance services.

Paramedic:  Full time position.  Current NREMT-P with North Dakota eligibility or current North Dakota Paramedic licensure.  Require current HCP-CPR, ACLS.  Applicants with prior ALS experience preferred.  Starting salary in the range of $40K-50K DOE.  Residency is not required.

EMT/AEMT/EMT-I85: Full time position.  Current NREMT with North Dakota eligibility or current North Dakota licensure.  Require current HCP-CPR and acceptable driving record.  Applicants with prior EMS experience are preferred.  Starting salary in the range of $30K-35K DOE.  Residency is not required.

Community Ambulance Service of Rolla, Rolla, North Dakota

Community Ambulance Service (CAS) of Rolla is seeking a full time Paramedic.  Starting wage is $18.00/hr plus overtime and benefits.  Benefits include health insurance, 401(K), and vacation.

Pembina Ambulance Service is seeking a full-time Office Manager.  This individual must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and have experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, budgeting, insurance billing and a willingness to train as an EMT-Basic within one year of hire.  Wages will be $13.00 - $16.00/hour DOE and benefit compensation.

Thief River Falls Area Ambulance, Thief River Falls, Minnesota

Qualifications:
   Required:

  1. Completion of an approved training program for EMT-Paramedic AND
  2. NREMT-Paramedic and North Dakota/Minnesota certification and at least two years of experience as an EMT or paramedic with a licensed ambulance service.

   Preferred:

  1. Minimum of three years, full-time experience as a paramedic provider of pre-hospital care in an emergency setting.
  2. Full-time experience must be within one year of date of application.

   Licensure/Certification:

  1. Nationally registered (or eligible) EMT-Paramedic certification.
  2. Certification by the State of Minnesota and/or State of North Dakota as an EMT-P.

  4. Must possess a valid class "D" Minnesota Driver's license or equivalent and a satisfactory driving record, including no more than two moving violations in the last three years of licensure.
  5. Must be able to rotate between shifts or work any full-time 4/4 shift rotation including weekends and holidays.

Specific job activities and accountabilities include:

  1. Respond to requests for emergency medical services.
  2. Respond to events such as multiple alarm fires, helicopter landings, civil unrest, police actions, hazardous materials incidents, acts of terrorism, FAA emergencies and water emergencies.
  3. Assess nature and extent of illness or injury and determine appropriate emergency medical procedures.
  4. Administer basic life support techniques using accepted standards of patient care.
  5. Administer advanced life support techniques under the written patient care protocols or in direct radio contact with our medical director physician.
  6. Perform extrication and rescue of victims.
  7. Operate emergency vehicle to transport sick and injured persons to and from a healthcare facility.
  8. Operate emergency medical equipment and maintain supplies.
  9. Assist in keeping ambulance facilities clean and orderly.
  10. Prepare and maintain records and reports.
  11. Perform other related duties.

Individuals hired by Ringdahl EMS must provide data for a criminal background study conducted by the Minnesota Department of Human Services; all offers of employment are conditional and contingent upon successful completion of this study.

Dickinson Area Ambulance, Dickinson, North Dakota

Dickinson Area Ambulance Service is seeking a full-time Paramedic.  Qualifications for this position include: NRP, PALS, PHTLS, PEPP or a willingness to obtain the qualifications within a year of hire.  The position requires 48 hours/week (8 hours will be paid at time and a half, with the opportunity to obtain more overtime).  The applicant must be willing to live in Dickinson and Dickinson Area Ambulance will assist with moving expenses.  They will also provide uniforms, pagers, radios and continuing education.  The position offers dental, vision and healthcare insurance through BCBS, with an option of adding family at the employee's expense.

West River Ambulance, Hettinger, North Dakota

West River Ambulance service, part of West River Health Services, is seeking a full-time Paramedic and EMT.
