Seeking Applicants for NDEMSA

Education Representative and
Fire/ Rescue Representative



The North Dakota EMS Association is accepting applications for the Education and Fire/ Rescue Representative positions until December 31, 2015. These are appointed positions made by the North Dakota EMS Association President and approved by the Board of Directors. The appointed  Representatives will begin their positions in January 2016 and are appointed for a three year term (ending 12/31/18).  These special appointee positions are not paid positions; they are part of the composition of the North Dakota EMS Association Board of Directors.    


Duties and Application for the

NDEMSA Education Representative


The primary duties of the Education Representative are working with the conference committee on education topics and presenters, assisting directors with regional conference planning, providing support and resources to EMS educators, and most importantly representing EMS education interests in North Dakota, which may include committee and task force meeting attendance. 

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:



Necessary Qualifications:

  • 1.      Currently licensed EMS Instructor/Coordinator  in North Dakota,
  • 2.      Compliance with the policies and bylaws of the North Dakota EMS Association, and
  • 3.      Be a member in good-standing of the North Dakota EMS Association.

Duties and Application for the

NDEMSA Fire/ Rescue Representative


The Fire/ Rescue Representative primary focus is to bridge the communication between the two groups, attend and participate at quarterly board meetings, work with the conference committee on topics as it pertains to fire/rescue, assist the association on committee assignment tasks, foster relationships with Fire and Rescue organizations in North Dakota, and most importantly represent fire/rescue interests in North Dakota, which may include committee and task force meeting attendance. 

 

Necessary Qualifications:

  • 1.      A member of a licensed fire and/or rescue service in North Dakota,
  • 2.      Comply with the policies and bylaws of the North Dakota EMS Association, and
  • 3.      A member in good-standing (or will become) of the North Dakota EMS Association.
